A truly beautiful cottage for two persons and a pet in the heart of the Peak District, along the Manifold cycle track. An ideal location to discover Staffordshire and Derbyshire.

Wren cottage has oil fired central heating, log burner,  linen and towels provided,  WiFi, smart TV and a well equipped kitchen. Outside there is a spacious lawned garden with seating. There is parking and an undercover place to store bikes.

Located along the Manifold Cycle Track, Wren Cottage is a former cowshed and hay loft and can be found on the southern fringe of the Peak District National Park, between the traditional market towns of Leek and Ashbourne and a short distance from the village of Waterhouses. This property can be booked together with Lee House Farm Cottage (which sleeps five UK4172) to accommodate up to 7 guests.

The owner lives on-site and is nearly always at hand if you need advice or assistance during your stay. There is  walking and cycling direct from the doorstep and bikes can be hired nearby to take advantage of the unique location.

Waterhouses is just 1½ miles away and offers a shop, a couple of pubs  and a chip shop. Leek and Ashbourne can both be reached in around 15 minutes by car and provide a selection of traditional shops and large supermarkets  together with cobbled streets, well-preserved architecture and fascinating heritage.
